i've been shooting a lot in boone recently, which i LOVE because it gives me an excuse to get back up to where i went to school and wander around the mountains a little bit. it's such a beautiful little town, surrounded by mountains and crisp, clean air. so when laura and chase and i discussed where to shoot their engagement session, naturally - they wanted to get back to the place they fell in love! we had a gorgeous (slightly chilly) day with beautiful light and they picked a couple of spots that felt special to them (rough ridge, a particular overlook they used to visit occasionally). we had so much shooting their engagement pictures and i can't wait until their wedding this october!
